Adelaide University Powerlifting Club is proud to present the next South Australian powerlifting competition in collaboration with the Australian Powerlifting Association (APA) — the South Australian Strength Showdown.

We welcome both experienced and first-time competitors, and look forward to seeing you all showcase your strength on the platform!

Competition Details

All APA competitions are bound by IPF rules; be sure to familiarise yourself with the rules of competition and approved equipment list ahead of competition day.

If you are under 18 years of age, a parent/legal guardian/temporary guardian must be present on the day. If not, you will be unable to compete. More information can be found on the APA website.

Preliminary competition schedule

This competition will have one lesson

• Lifting will begin at 10am
• Weigh-in will begin at 8am
