What the course covers

Coaching theory
You’ll work through the fundamentals of effective coaching, including training methodology, psychology, strength and conditioning, technical rules, anti-doping, nutrition, and key considerations for youth, women, and athletes with disabilities.

Technical and practical coaching
The practical component focuses on real coaching scenarios and hands-on learning. This includes technique development, training methods, strategy, error detection and correction, athlete communication, and competition preparation. Assessments include on-platform coaching observed by an IPF international coach, along with home-based tasks.

Assessment and accreditation
The course concludes with written and practical exams. Successful participants receive an official IPF Coach Diploma and membership card.
