IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING REGISTRATION
Step 1: Team Captain Registration
The team Captain registers the team via the APA website.
During registration, the Team Captain must provide:
Team Name
Teammate’s name
The Team Captain completes payment for the team as part of the registration.
After registering, the Team Captain will receive a confirmation email with theunique registration linkfor their teammates.
Step 2: Teammate Registration
The Team Captain forwards theunique registration linkto their teammates.
Each teammate uses the link to complete their registration (no payment required).
Power Pals III is a team based powerlifting competition. Teams of two will battle it out with podium placings determined by combined GL points! There are no minimum requirements to enter, though competitors must be part of a team of two to be eligible to compete.
Your individual bench press result canbe used as qualification for the 2026 Bench Only Nationals, and your individual total canbe used as qualification for the 2027 Nationals Series.
Competition Details
All APA competitions are bound by IPF rules; be sure to familiarise yourself with the rules of competition and approved equipment list ahead of competition day.
If you are under 18 years of age, a parent/legal guardian/temporary guardian must be present on the day. If not, you will be unable to compete. More information can be found on the APA website.
Preliminary competition schedule
This competition will have two sessions
Session 1 (9am to 1:30pm)
Weigh-in will begin at 7am
Lifting will begin at 9am
Session 2 (2:00pm to 6:30pm)
Weigh-in will begin at 12:00pm
Lifting will begin at 2:00pm
Maximum number of entrants: 56 (28 teams)
