The inaugural Air Force Powerlifting Championships will be hosted at RAAF Base Amberley from 01-08 November. The week will include training sessions, upskilling and networking events, and will culminate in the biggest ever powerlifting event for ADF personnel! Not only will individuals compete for category awards, but the combined performance of members from each base or region will be tallied for the opportunity to win the perpetual “Strongest RAAF Base” award!
This event is open to all currently serving members of the ADF, not just Air Force personnel. To register for this event, you must also register with Air Force Powerlifting.

This competition entry provides opportunities for novices to compete in a powerlifting event for the first time. No IPF-compliant powerlifting equipment is required, however you cannot use this event to qualify for state- or national- level events.
APA referees and volunteers will officiate and run the event, ensuring adherence to IPF rules and regulations.
If you are interested in volunteering or officiating, please reach out to the meet director. All training will be provided!
This is more than a competition — it’s a celebration of strength, discipline, and camaraderie across the ADF.
