The Australian Powerlifting Alliance is inviting expressions of interest for Non-Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) roles on its Board.
These volunteer leadership opportunities offer the chance to contribute your professional skills, help guide the APA’s strategic direction and support the future of powerlifting in Australia.
Board members work together to strengthen governance, support athlete pathways from grassroots to elite competition, and progress towards recognition as a National Sporting Organisation.
Non-Executive Directors
We welcome applicants with skills in governance, finance, law, marketing, IT/data management, and strategic partnerships. Prior board or senior management experience is highly regarded, along with a commitment to the APA’s values and the development of our sport.
Chief Financial Officer
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to help guide the APA’s financial planning and security over the short and longer term. The CFO will contribute to the Board’s strategic decisions and support the organisation’s financial sustainability as it grows.
Opportunities across Australia
Both roles are unpaid and can be undertaken remotely, with flexibility around other commitments. Some evening or weekend availability may be required for Board meetings or events.
The APA is a Child Safe Organisation. Successful applicants must hold a valid Working With Children Check and undertake a National Police Check before commencing.
